BEST THINGS I HAVE DONE TO MY STUDENTS

Nowadays, Education  has a great priority to evolve human civilization. Talking about education, we will also talk about teacher and student.  Teacher is then pointed out the creator of learning and students will be the createes.  Tearcher is basically not only creating learning but also productively develop students's interests and talents. in this blog, i'd like to share my experience as a Coordinator of Students's organization in empowering students capacity in which it gathered them in Drama and Video Community, Students' blogging Community, and English Debate Community.

At First, I've got along with Drama and Video Community since 2005. I established this community namely "TORCH" after considering students interests and talents in Drama.  I got them to Practice and to make drama performance in TBJ Jambi. Fortunately, they were happy because they became the second winner of Drama competition in Jambi Art Festival.  I took that drama performance and documented in Video.  Then I motivated them to make Film and Drama and then I taught them how to teach them make movie or film.  I then, got them to make other movies and documented. Hopefully someday, we can send the best film or movie to Teenage's Movies Competition. 

Second, I have also made Students' Blogging community at school in January 2010.  Though at this moment, i have only Five of my students has an ability to make a better blog. It was not easy to teach and guide them to write, but Finally I found that it was a good movement to develop student's integration to technology. I gradually motivate and give some helps for their difficulties.  I plan to get them to join the blogging competition next year.

Third,  I and some english teachers  had made an effort to develop English Debate Community.  This Community was established in 2009. We grouped them into one community and get them practice debating twice a week.   They were so enthusiastic to join this debate community.  I and english teachers made a well design material or topic to be debated.  They collected information from many sources and in thursday and saturday, they came to language laboratory to debate one another.  We prepare them to  fight against the Vocational Debate Competition This year.

Those three student empowering activity becomes my priority to develop students' interest and talents. We do expect that the student will meet their interest and become one power to support school's  progress.
